Terms of Service

Last updated 14 July 2026

Radio Trainer is a free beta. By using it, you agree to what follows.

Training aid only — not for real-world flight operations

This app is a practice tool. It is not a source of aviation authority and must not be used as one.

  • It is not approved by NAV CANADA, Transport Canada, or any civil aviation authority, and is not affiliated with them.
  • The phraseology is drafted from the Transport Canada AIM, the NAV CANADA VFR Phraseology guide and the Canada Flight Supplement, and each scenario lists the sections it relies on.
  • The AI controller is generated software. It can be wrong, and does not behave like a real air traffic controller in every situation.
  • Airport details in scenarios are simplified and may be out of date. Never use this app for flight planning or in an aircraft.

Always follow your flight instructor, current official publications, and the instructions of actual air traffic control. Nothing here replaces real training, and it does not count toward any licence, rating, or currency requirement.

The service

The app is provided free of charge, as-is, with no guarantee of availability. Daily usage limits apply so that the running costs stay manageable, and you may occasionally be told the daily capacity is used up. Features may change or be withdrawn, and the service may be discontinued, at any time and without notice.
